GRACE OF A STRANGER is a short film about a destitute man who loses the one thing that gives him hope, and an unlikely stranger who finds himself in a position to help. The screenplay is based on the autobiographical short story “Acts of Kindness” by Aaron Keel. Keel wrote his story from his prison cell while he was a student in the University of Arizona’s Prison Creative Writing Workshops and an inmate in the Arizona State Prison system.

Shot in Tucson, Arizona, the film stars Nipper Knapp and Matt Letscher and was directed by Troy Hollar.
